The Wireless Edition draws power directly from your Tesla's existing OEM 12V circuit — there is no external battery pack and no additional wiring harness to run through the cabin. Installation is significantly simpler and cleaner. All RGB and smart features are identical to the standard version.
How do I switch the RGB color?+
Press and hold the right steering wheel scroll wheel for 3 seconds. The control box will beep once to confirm and the color will change. Release the wheel, then press and hold again — the next beep cycles to the next color. Repeat to cycle through Blue, Red, Green, White, and Rainbow Flow modes.
Will installing this kit void my official Tesla warranty?+
Our kit uses 100% plug-and-play non-destructive wiring harnesses. No original factory cabling is stripped, spliced, or modified — fully reversible at any time. Non-destructive aftermarket systems generally do not affect vehicle warranty, but please consult your local Tesla Service Center.
If my vehicle loses power, can passengers still open the doors?+
Yes. The mechanical fail-safe override is fully preserved. In case of complete electrical failure, manually press the leading edge of the handle to tilt it mechanically — identical to stock OEM behavior. Zero risk of being locked out.
Will the handles drain my Tesla's 12V battery?+
No. The controller uses advanced deep sleep protocols drawing less than 0.2A in standby — equivalent to native OEM sensors. There is no auxiliary battery drain from normal use.
Do the LEDs stay on permanently?+
No. The RGB lighting only activates when the vehicle detects an approaching key, during handle presentation, or while a door is open. It turns off automatically once the vehicle locks or shifts into gear.
